A History of Machining Excellence

Cheetah Precision, Inc. was founded in 1978 by Manfred Niedernhoefer.  By establishing a niche in prototype work, our reputation for taking on difficult challenges and turning them into successful projects quickly grew throughout the region.  Eventually we added production capabilities, and today Cheetah is a full CNC shop with high-speed machining capabilities.

Cheetah established itself as a quality precision machine shop one customer at a time.  Since our inception, our growth has exclusively come from customer referrals.  Customers know that we honor our word. 

This family crest symbolizes the personal integrity and commitment to excellence of Manfred Niedernhoefer, owner of Cheetah precision, Inc.   In 1962, Manfred, a native of Frankfurt, Germany, arrived in the United States with a technical education and a goal to some day own his own business.  After working for various manufacturers throughout the Twin Cities, Manfred founded Cheetah Precision, Inc. in 1978.  His ongoing belief that America truly is the "land of opportunity" for people willing to work hard and strive to be the best drives Manfred to operate a machine shop that unquestionably places customers first, and treats employees like family.
